Scent from Savannah

Originally founded and created by Brenda and Mike Scarpati’s admiration for Savannah’s charm, beauty, history and artistry, Scent from Savannah started as a candle company to fill a need for their gift shop when their candle supplier became unavailable. Brenda and Mike, both scientists in their previous careers and by nature, created their own soy-based natural candles. Knowing that they couldn’t be just another candle on the shelf, they partnered with internationally awarded artist Tiffani Taylor to help display the beauty and richness of their candles from the outside in. Lush and vibrant, Ms. Taylor’s art is a tribute to the things the eye cannot see: the journey of life, inner beauty, feelings of gratitude, reverence, and appreciation.

Brenda and Mike have since retired but wanted their creation and Ms. Taylor’s art to continue to be represented with their custom fragrances. To carry on the legacy, Tiffani Taylor and Cari Clark Phelps work together to keep Scent from Savannah products available for those who have already come to love them and those that have yet to experience the Scarpati’s hand-poured candles and fragrances.

I am thankful for my grandparents and mom. I am proud that they instilled in me the gift of gratitude, as well as deep love and respect for Mother Nature.

When I was seventeen years old, painting murals, and have been a full-time artist for over twenty years now.
