Founded by Clark Creative Communications, Make Savannah supports makers in The Hostess City, featuring the innovative minds behind the works, products, uniquely crafted goods and ideas that ‘make’ Savannah unlike anywhere else. + What is the objective of Make Savannah?

Make Savannah celebrates the inspirational brands and the people behind them, that make Savannah distinctly special. Its purpose is twofold:

For the Maker: To provide an online destination for promoting Maker products and peer-to-peer networking opportunities, and to become the information source for Maker events and brand development.

For the Consumer: To provide Savannah brand-lovers with a place to shop a curated selection of Savannah products all in one destination, learn about the Makers behind each product, and gift like a Savannahian.

+ What is a Maker?

Makers are entrepreneurs, craftsmen, artisans, photographers, writers, chefs, collectors and designers with creativity and unparalleled passion for supporting local.

We accept applications from Makers in these product categories and more:

  • Local Food & Beverage Goods

+ How are Makers evaluated and selected?

Our aim is to select Makers who have top-quality local products with the highest potential for brand growth. Makers are selected based on the following product differentiators:

  • Local connectedness
  • Quality
  • Uniqueness
  • Marketability
  • Good Reputation
  • Online and social media presence favorable, but not required.

Please note: To ensure the online platform maintains a standard of high-quality and variety, we have capped the amount of Makers per product category.

+ Do I need to be local to apply?

Make Savannah is specific to Savannah, Georgia, but we are always open to hearing from Makers in other areas. If you are not from Savannah, but are a maker in a different area, feel free to email us with any questions. We’ll be happy to connect you with any resources we may have.

+ Is there an application fee?

Applying to be a member of Make Savannah is free.

+ Is there a membership fee?

Makers may choose from a tiered membership plan offering both free and paid annual memberships. There’s an option for every budget! Learn more about each plan. Applicants for the Pro Maker Premium Plan are accepted upon approval.

  • Maker (Free)
  • Growing Business (Advanced) - $100 Annually
  • Pro Maker (Premium) - $500 Annually

+ How are Makers notified once the application is reviewed?

Within two weeks of applying, those applicants selected to become members of Make Savannah will receive a phone call. Those who are not chosen for membership will receive an email notification offering other solutions where their product may be a better fit.
